About MIT

The AIRESΒ program atΒ MITΒ offers aΒ small-group, 3-week, commuter-only experienceΒ designed to leverage theΒ state-of-the-art facilities and innovation ecosystemΒ of one of the world’s top engineering institutions. This program is open exclusively toΒ rising Grade 11 and 12 students, who will be asked to submit an additional short response of 200 words answeringΒ “What inspires you?”

For students attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology sessions, on-campus housing is not provided as part of the standard program arrangement. Families who choose to arrange their own housing accommodations will receive a housing stipend from AIRES. Alternatively, families may request AIRES to assist with arranging on-campus housing and residential coordination on the student’s behalf. The housing arrangement and coordination service fee is already included in the current tuition. Please feel free to contact our team for additional housing details and availability.

AIRES at MITΒ is open toΒ rising Grade 10–12 students, primarily from the U.S.Β Due to limited capacity and the highly competitive nature of the MIT location,Β priority consideration will be given to rising Grade 11 and 12 students. Rising Grade 10 applicants may be considered on a selective basis and must demonstrate exceptional academic performance, rigorous coursework, and meaningful extracurricular engagement.
