AIRES is a 2–3 week intensive residential summer program hosted at leading U.S. universities, bringing together ambitious middle and high school students.

The program is recommended for rising Grade 11 and Grade 12 students, though rising Grade 10 students with relevant coursework may also be considered. Students who are not yet in Grade 9 at the time of application may explore the AIRES Junior program offered on select campuses. You will complete an application that includes academic, extracurricular, and personal questions. We recommend drafting your essay responses separately before submitting.
The quick answer is yes. Scholarships are merit-based, and you do not need to apply for them separately. If you wish to apply for financial aid, please indicate this on your program application form. We will then email you the financial aid application.
Admissions are rolling. Priority applications are due by February 28, and reviews will begin on March 1, 2025. Initial decisions will be released in late March. Applications submitted after the priority deadline will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. We encourage you to apply by the priority deadline to maximize your chances of securing a spot.
